There are many companies out there that sell or you can download for free a copy of their anti software, but you have to be careful, only download anti spyware software from companies that are reputable. They are other companies that sell anti spyware software but they really spyware programs themselves. What happens with some companies, they will send out a banner reading something like you computer has been infected and they offer you a downloadable anti software, but the actuality of that is the banner itself is spyware and then the free download is more spyware.
Companies like this prey on people who don’t understand what spyware is and what is does and how to go about getting anti spyware software if they had to. So they rely ob the information in front of them and before they realize it, the computer is already corrupted. Some companies may call themselves, registry cleaners, anti virus or anti spyware. Only download or use the companies you know.
Here are a few companies that misrepresent themselves as anti spyware users. Pest Trap, Spay Axe, Anti Virus Gold, Spy Wiper, Spy Sheriff and Winfixer. These companies actually sound legit right? You would never have thought that a company called Winfixer would be bogus. But they are, do some research on the anti spyware company you are thinking of using before adding anything else into your computer. It could man the matter of a little damage or a lot of damage.
